Overview:

Originally designed for special forces and tactical operations, the Surgeon Scalpel 1581 Precision Sniper Rifle features the Surgeon Rifles 1581 XL Action with a full length 30-MOA integral 1913 MIL-STD picatinny rail, and a .450″ integral recoil lug. Similar to other Surgeon Actions, the 1581 also utilizes the anti-jam rail to prevent lodging when single loading, and a side-mounted, shrouded bolt stop to prevent accidental bolt release in extreme applications. The 1581 XL Action is paired with the Cadex Dual Strike Chassis System, 27″ match grade stainless steel barrel, and a large muzzle devise for optimal reduction in perceived recoil.
